The best way to be certain that an agent is working in your best interests is by signing a Buyer Agency Agreement with an agent. The following is a list of the many benefits of using a real estate agent to solely represent you and not the seller:

  • Determine the specific needs and wants of the buyer and locate properties that are a match.
     
  • Assist the buyer in establishing the amount that they can afford (this may also include a mortgage pre-approval) and show properties in that price range.

  • Review and explain all legal documents to their buyer client.
     
  • Recommend and assist in securing appropriate financing.
